maradona maybe clueless as a manager but any team that can leave messi out altogether and still win easily, is going to be a threat come the world cup

he has started with higuain and tevez up front. aguerro on the bench, no messi, no milito either

they will be a threat come the start of the world cup

just as i post on comes aguerro and scores 5-0 argies

these teams get organised and can cause problems

would you have messi, aguerro, tevez, higuain, d milito

    or

can see your point but i would put this england team up against the argies any day. they struggled to qualify for a start

    this england team from tonight?

i would not fancy our defence being took on by messi, tevez and higuain mind.

with milito and aguerro to come on

also maxi rodriguez, cambiasso coming forward

    we shall see though

That's an embarrasment of riches they have up front Stephen, but the question can be put the other way too.

    Would you rather have:

Terry, Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, King, Gerrard and Lampard

    Or

Collocini, Clemente Rodriguez, Garce, Burdiosso, Guiterrez and Maxi Rodriguez.

I don't think any country, not even Spain, could say they wouldn't take Argentian's choice of Strikers over their own.

The thing is though, Maradona has shown in qualifying prior to the tournament that he doesn't have the tactical capabilities to turn that Argentinian strikeforce into a team capable of winning a World Cup.

I honestly feel that they will be eliminated by the first Italy, Germany etc that they face in the knockout stage.

In another masterstroke by Maradona, he didn't include Cambiasso in his squad, Stephen.

    I'd rather have a Capello.

no cambiasso? ridiculous. didnt he score one of the best goals of the world cup in germany, when there was about a 30 pass move, which he finished ?

anyway back to the above and it is a very fair point as the argies have big problems at the back.

i can see them scoring a stack but conceding just as many. it will depend on messi as to how far they go, as he for me, will score a few in the tournament. i hope so, as i have 20s for him being top scorer
