Default Evening Chronicle - How can it be taken seriously ?

honestly , it cover the mags like a fanzine

    take this report:

    http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/newca...2703-29063378/

    this bit in particular:

NEWCASTLE UNITED'S opening pre-season game was marred by pitch invaders at the Darlington Arena tonight.
United were 1-0 up after Joey Barton's second-minute strike, but all hell broke out after substitute Sammy Ameobi scored a scorching goal 10 minutes into the second half.
Fans had chanted before the strike "If Sammy scores we're on the pitch" and within seconds of the ball hitting the back of the net, hundreds of United fans invaded the field.
This led to Toon stars Joey Barton and Alan Smith pleading with fans to return to the away section.
But when the game restarted, several Darlo fans had found their way into the Newcastle end, and began fighting, before the game was stopped yet again.
Referee Colin Webster appeared to signal an abandonment, but after the pitch was cleared manager Alan Pardew and John Carver walked over to the United fans to tell them to calm down.
After the restart, a Darlington fan appeared to punch a steward, and the game eventually finished 2-0 to United.

so basically it was a jovial pitch invasion and teh darlo fans spoilt it all with violence

surely a major newspaper that is often used to represent our region (fuck knows why) in football news round ups, should employ someone reasonably professional to do this job ?

It's well know as the 'Big Issue' of the newspaper industry.

    no mention of that]

i know the echo is sunderland biased in coverage but unless im wrong it doesnt mince words if we are in teh wrong

the chronicle reminds me of some kind of chinese communist party propaganda rag, heralding teh geordie nation and dismissing all criticism and blaming third parties

pretty poor and possibly a decent reflection on the average mags thought process

The mags are well known for rewriting history to suit them ... but the mince pie dribbles down their manky strips haven't even had a chance to turn to stains after tonight's game and they're already at it!!
