Rant...

...just tappy-lapped down my local, regular haunt for a swift mid week scoop. Am often in there 2,3,4, times a week, usually for a couple, sometimes more. Stood at bar, patient like while a large extended family, Mr & Mrs Indecision went through the menu deciding what to have. 3 seperate staff failed to notice me with the right money & everything. After food decisions were made & I thought "Thank fuck for that, mebbe's I'll get a pint", Mr Indecision then said "Right, drinks then" & started asking what everybody wanted whilst said 3 barstaff hang off his every word. I started putting me jacket back on & one of the barmen said "Oh are you off? Didn't see you there"

"Then you're not very good at your job then, are you?" sez I

There were 3 other people in there! Not exactly a busy place...

No but Mr Indecision was spending more than you.

AND... Loyalty means nowt these days.

maybe you dont live as near to your local as you thought but think he might have noticed the smell if you really were off

Maybe they were spending more than you, so yer custom wasnt that much needed?.

You might be right for tonight, but I've never seen him in there before, I easily spend £80 - £100 a month, including bar meals, sometimes more & I didn't even want special treatment! Just a frickin' pint within 10 minutes of walking into a bar. 10 minutes FFS!
