Just me or have they gone up in price?

There used to be decent offers on 3 months in advance but just booking for July and there is very little

I priced London Kings Cross from Darlington for 2 adults return in mid June and the cheapest was just under £400, they can piss off.

exactly, you could go on holiday to spain for that fucker. I looked at going sunderland to portsmouth by the way and it was a similar sort of price- as an aside, if you wanted to travel first class it was about £150 extra per person. Surely people realise that the first class only gives you a little bit extra leg room, a slightly more comfortable seat and a free coffee. Its better, but its hardly worth much, not even worth an extra £30 imo

I pay that for last minute travel, the cheap ones only come on sale the Thursday 12 weeks befor dates. So the cheapies foir mid July won't be out for a couple of weeks.

    Just did a randon search

    June 20th
    London - Darlo 9.36 - 2 adults £61.40

    June 27th
    14.59 Darlo- London 2 adults £61.40

    Total £122.80

Are you sure? I can regularly get a return journey from Newcastle to Kings Cross return about 7 days before for about 110 quid return.
