I've just bought my ticket. Never been to Ewood park before. What's the best way to go?

I don't mind driving or if the train is easier I can take that, not fussed. Anyone got any experience?

If going by train the best bet is to get off at a stop called Mill Hill - 5 minute walk away from the ground. Blackburn's main station is bloody miles away from the ground. To get there catch a train from Manchester to Preston then change at Preston taking the Northern service to York - not all of them stop at Mill Hill Hill so check in advance. Might be a pain in the arse getting a train back after the game though so driving may be the better option.

i'm planning on driving up. will leave about 6pm to get there for 7ish. route from stockport is:

    m60
    m66
    a56
    join m65 at junction 8
    exit m65 at junction 4
as you leave the motorway take 1st left at roundabout which will take you to t-junction with a666. the ground is right at the junction about 1/2 mile down the hill

for parking you have 2 options:

    1. turn right towards the ground, go under the motorway and park in school on your left for a few quid

    2. turn left and find free street parking amongst terraces off the a666
