Techy help - Free Bolton ticket if it works.

If anyone can help sort out my laptop problem I will give a ticket for the Bolton match.

We have a couple of laptops on one facebook works fine on the other its fucked.

Problems are:-

1) It doesnt autocomplete or offer suggestions when typing friends names into the search bar.

2)When it is "friends" birthdays wont let me click on it so I can wish them a happy birthday.

3)Wont let me send messages to people/business's on my friends list unles we have previously exchanged them.

4) If a friend posts a picture it wont let me click on it to view it.

5) only shows a limited amount of information on the feed shows like it is trying to load up more posts etc but it never appears.

All this works on my other laptop and worked on this one a few months ago but it is of great annoyance.

Which browser do you use? Have you tried an alternative?

Explorer everything else seems to work fine and we use explorer on the other laptop and all the above listed problems are not there.

Browsers still have settings that can get fucked up, try firefox or something to at least rule it out.

In IE go to Tools then Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab and click on the button Reset Internet Explorer Settings, make sure personal settings are also reset.

It'd also be a good idea to update your Flash and Java too ( just search on Google for them).

Ok will do how would I go about doing that, not the best on these machines

Just Google firefox and choosevthe top search results, click download. This or what the lad above said about resetting ie should sort it for ya.

It doesn't matter about the ticket, i see similar problems on a daily basis at work so it's only fair to share my wisdom on here.
