It has been known...rags the edges more, light touch of copydex if they fray too far ( you have to know these things )

Actually, I find sawn-off shotguns to be a stronger retro statement. That's why I always carry one.

Seem to remember it was me Ma's way of recycling once the knees got wore out from playing marbles etc. She used to keep the cut off legs for making patches .
