Default Dimbleby refuses to do QT from Scotland

    soz if SEB like

The BBC will fly up to four Question Time producers down from Scotland every week to brief David Dimbleby in Westminster.

Bosses will send the programme makers down every Wednesday and put them in hotels for the night so they can discuss Thursday evening's show.

He's spot on. A stupid move by the BBC.

If they're going to move the show to the regions, why pick the one that's furthest away from where they need to be FFS?

Agreed. I'm generally pro-BBC but moving a political program's team away from Westminster just seems stupid.

Disagree totally AB, there's too much importance put on the small area round Westminster in this country, the politicians are supposed to represent us not us pander to them. Its not as if he has to travel the distance that there are in the states and if he's says he's too old he should retire.

It's in a different local every week so it must just be the production team they have move to the land of the Porridge Wog. Can't say I understand why like?

Have to say I agree with PM here. Having worked down there they are totally out of touch with regional issues. I think Dimbleby does a good job but perhaps a slightly different perspective might make feel less like a 'village' programme.
