I just read we are not going to sign Muntari because of finances. This is fine and I have no problem with that but, I am very unhappy about how the Muntari situation was handled. What is the point of saying you are not going to sign a player 3 games before the end of the season? How can that be positive for the team in anyway? Why not wait till the end and at least pretend to make a holistic assessment?

I seem to remember the last time we had a quality loan player, Cissie, we messed him around till the end of the season and then turned around and said we weren't going to take up the option to buy him. Can't win either way, it seems.

If it was just to do with finance, then we wouldn't have put clauses in the contract to sign hi fully if we could reach agreement regarding wages.He hasn't shown anything like enough to warrent been our top paid player.

Wasn't it his agent who has come out publicly to say it? He is hardly gonna say the deal won't go through because of how poorly the player has played is he? Probably now trying to sound out other clubs early as he isn't happy in Milan either.

a local journalist and a few others who are close to the club. basically said he has mucked Bruce about and others were unhappy at how Bruce handled Muntari and as a result treated them.
