    Default Dissertation help.

Hi, I wondered if anybody fancies helping me out with my dissertation research relating to fan attendance at football. The research is a case study based on Sunderland AFC fans and aims to find out:

    1) How people have been socialised into the role of a football fan.
    2) The extent to which a team’s success and/or playing style affects rates of attendance.
    3) Possible social and economic reasons why people who have previously had a season ticket decided not to renew it.
    4) To identify the link between the increasing number of mediatised ways to consume football and whether a fan chooses to go and watch their team play live.
    5) Whether fans feel disconnected from the modern day game and its players and explore reasons for this.

Anybody willing to help can contact me at michael1990223@hotmail.co .uk for further details, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Will help mate. Assuming it's going to be a questionnaire on an interview? Are you sure it's wise to tell us the aims though? Could spoil the research?

The data is supposed to collected via semi-structured interviews but I suppose if I could send you the questions you could answer them and e-mail them back to me, I would be extremely grateful for any co-operation.

I don't mind answering a few questions, I'll be doing mine on Premier League Clubs Business models next year so no doubt will be on here begging for help then as well. I'll PM you my email.

I live in the South and try to get to London games as well as a few home games. Let me know if I can help with your research.

Mate I live on the opposite side of the planet but still follow the team with all my heart and have been known to go to riduculous lengths to see some games during my travels. If you think I can help you I'd be happy to spare some time for your project. Just PM me. Cheers.
