Default online check in and connecting flights

im flying with air france next month, but i'll be on BA from newcastle to CDG then onwards, can you check in online from newcastle to cdg and do the other connecting flight aswell.

rather sit with my three mates and get tanked up rather some smelly frenchys like..

ohh aye and on average, how long does it take for air france to return your bags once they've lost them in CDG ??

If both airlines are part of the Star Alliance I believe your bags will be checked all the way through.

Edit - just checked and both are not.

I always check to see if my luggage comes off at a connecting airport even when told it's checked all the way through.

both flights are going through 2E so even if you do have to collect your bags and check in again, at least you don't have to leg it across the airport to a different terminal area.

Sometimes you will get different operators running a flight on behalf of another line even though they don't codeshare. Looking at your ticket, I'd say your bags should get checked straight through.
