    One of my favourite ever bands - especially live, they seemed to genuinely love playing up here

    Me mate went to see them this month but I was at Villa. Mike Peters was singing but it wouldn't be the same without Stuart, although me mate reckons they were really good

    Get shivers when I listen to Porrohman (the song not the dude off here!)

    saw them 3 times in Newcastle and once here in Barrow, I couldnt believe it when they played here, it was a year before Stuart died. He was always up for a laugh and they were all in the bar after the gig

    Used to go every time they played in the north east - it's the only reason I went to see Bowie at Roker Park

    The epitome of an underrated band. Love getting the old albums out from time to time, this week will be Big Country week in my house now - cheers
