To be fair to the lad, he's no Drogba or Rooney whatever ammount of goals he scores, Unfortunately.

    Doesnt deserve to be imo.

He has had an excellent season but not on the same level as Rooney and Drogba

    Hold on a minute...

    1) He is a different type of player so you can't really compare.
    2) He has scored pretty much the same amount of Premier League goals playing in a team that has struggled for a good chunk of the season. So that begs the question, how many would he have had now playing in Man United or Chelsea team week in week out...?
    3) The real reason he is not in the "Team of the season" is down to the fact that he plays for a team/club that is not fashionable at the moment.

Bent is not good enough to play for Chelsea or Man Utd.

Bent has scored the amount of goals for Sunderland because our team is set up for him to score, we dont get goals from midfield or defence in general so everything is set up for Bent to score. Also he takes pens which Drogba doesnt.

Im a massive fan of Bent in Sunderlands colours but to say he should be in the team of the season ahead of Drogba and Rooney is simply massive Sunderland bias imo.
