Joe Jopling
Just been interviewd on London Tonight as he played in the Aldershot team v Man Utd in 1970, proper Northern accent, now a publican still living in the Aldershot area, as landlord of the Golden Lion public house on High Street, anyone know him, Wiki says he is from Shields and worked in the shipyards

I played in the same side as him for South Shields Boys when we won the Hartlepool Hospitals Cup beating Middlesborough Boys in the Final 4-3 at the Recreation Ground at Cleadon. He went to school at Brinkburn. He was the only player in the side to play professional football
