bit of a grey area this. especially over Christmas time. Maybe breathalyser should be available to buy cheaply in chemist shops etc. I feel fine after yesterday's session but legally i'm probably still over the limit, so i'm not going to risk it. That bit about having a meal is baffling too

iv got a breathlyser, got it for about 15 quid from Halfords

So according to that I could have 8 shots at midnight and still be able to drive at 8am, yet if I had 3 glasses of wine I wouldn't be able to drive until 1pm.

I havnt read that but a large glass of wine can be up to 4 units where a shot could be only 1 unit

its just to give you a general indication really, I dont think anyone would expect it to be a defence in court, it also states that in the guide.

You'd be surprised Lordy. What happens if they blow into it, it comes up as ok to drive and they are over the limit? Just by putting in a disclaimer saying it can't be used as a defense is a bit weak and preys on people's over reliance on technology rather than using good old common sense.

I wonder how this would mess up the calculations?
