Bent, Hendo and Campbell have all been capped when with us.

No reason why Welbeck wouldn't be.

Welbeck got his first England cap whilst playing for us.

Campbell got a cap with us and barely deserves to be in the premiership.
Henderson got a cap way too early.
Welbeck arguably wasn't ready for a call up either with us.

Doesn't seem like some massive anti sunderland regime to me. Bent and phillips deserved a better crack of the whip but still were capped.

Which sunderland players have deserved call ups in recent years and not got them? lol:

    Fucking hell man.

The OP's totally right. If you completely ignore the fact that Bent, Welbeck, Henderson and Campbell have all played for England whilst here.

I know the Bent ended badly but Welbeck, Campbell and Henderson all made their international debuts whilst here.

Surely that should bsuggest that if they play well they'll be called up?

Campbell wasn't even playing well FFS...

Bollocks he got a cap regardless of who owned him because he was playing very well before he got injured and was kn the verge of the squad when he returned from injury the first games was Ghana also Ghana wanted him so he got a cap.

Did Henderson get capped because Capello knew he would leave to a bigger club?
