El Hadj Diouf could be a contender, ok he wasn't shit but he didn't justify the £10mill price tag at any time with Liverpool.

I can't think of any at the moment, the obvious ones can't be included.
Diouf and Diao were bought before the World Cup and Poborsky was bought after the Euros.
