    i was out for a meal with the in-laws last night and got talking to our young waitress who plays for sunderland women.
    Anyway i asked here if they were getting any recognition from safc and she said they weren't.
    Anyway she went on to tell me that one of her teams mates was speaking to benty and the talk got round to sponsorship for the girls. Benty has agreed to get as many of the safc players to sponsor the girls and even commented that if they wouldn't he would sponsor them all himself at £200 per player.
    i know this is peanuts to him but i think it is a great gesture and makes me love the man more
