Anyone remember this?

Found this leaflet below when I was clearing some old stuff away last night. I was only about 12 at the time and cant remember ever seeing this event, was it a regular thing whilst we were at Roker?

They did, I used to go up and watch the matches there. Not that I can remember anything about those games.

I remember watching it as well. I don't think it was a one-off i'm sure this tournament ran for 2 maybe 3 years. Scrapped due to lack of funds no doubt !

It does say it's the seventh one in massive letters on the poster, so probably not a one-off.

Is one of these festivals not where that photo of Keegan in one of our kits comes from?

The line up doesn't look as good as I remember in other tournaments. Barcelona, Ajax, Inter(?). I remember some really big clubs taking part.

Quite tempted to free the taste with Premier Cola now.
