    Without going to much into it, alledgedly he had some difficult choices to make re: cuttbacks etc. However, as I said to my old man, hes 62, theres probably nothing he hasnt experienced before such as ressessions etc.

    Maybe its more difficult to be ruthless as you get on?

    My take is he seemed a canny bloke and when you think about it, he's had a great colourful life.
    Must be awful for his family and I hope the money problem rumours are wrong cos he was a good employer for the town and I wouldn't want to see more lads out of work.
