    Have any of you guys in the branch have any memories of meeting Quinny ?

    Yes, Eamon and I met St. Naill in Irish bar bside the old Mowbrey Park Hotel while he was still a player. Great guy, sorry to see him leave the club. SAFC should do something to officially recognise him- eg rename a stand. We tried to get him accross to Belfast a few times, but were never successful.
    Things are going well- see you at Wembley!

    That will have been Dirty Nellys. I was also in his company in the same pub with my brother and it was great craic. I agree SAFC need to honour him.

    That's right you were there he had a great big plaster cast on his foot if I remember correctly. Great craic that night smashing guy.

    met him at our 10th anniversary do at the SoL. was washing my hands in the bathroom and Quinny comes out of a cubicle to do the same. asked could i get a picture out in the hallway. chatted while we were drying up and then a quick yarn outside in the hallway before the picture was taken.

    they say you should never meet your heroes. Quinny proved that to be wrong. was in awe of him but a very personable man. will miss him but i reckon he will be back for the odd match or so.
