Any of you know someone from immigration?

Looking to do my de facto visa in next few weeks and would be ideal if someone 'knew someone on the inside' as i hear it can take months to get sorted etc.

I think even if you 'knew someone' on the inside, you'd be very lucky to get any traction from them

When I was getting my visa sorted, I was speaking to a chap who said 'you're not married to Chris xxxxxxxx's sister are you?' I replied, I was that said lucky man, and he proceeded to tell me that he was brothers best mate and he I would need to speak to another agent. Fair enough I thought, but I thought I would get dealt with quicker. Did I f**k.
