The quality over the past few years has been shite, compared to the PDC.

Always good. Better atmosphere than the PDC I think.

I actually prefer this crowd to the pdc. The pdc crowd just want to get on the tv as king Eric said . The bdo crowd actually go there to watch the darts.

I also think its more exciting. It sometimes takes them 10 goes each to hit the double

More characters too. I'm hoping for Tony 'Silverback' O'Shea this year.

I'll be watching to see how the North East lads get on, Davy Prins SAFC fan from Peterlee now in his 3rd Lakeside is a canny lad hope he does well and Paul Jennings from Hartlepool, Who is playing cracking darts this year around the local competitions as well as picking up a few BDO Open titles 100/1 is a mental price for him despite it being the first time he's qualified.
