whats the speed limit on there these days

I noticed there are new signs up saying 30mph limit now enforce, but about 5 metres further along the road the 40mph sign is still up.

I can see it being a prime candidate for northumbrias finest to park a scamera van in a field hidden behind some bushes.

I like the new bollards they've recently put up....is like Blackpool illuminations on a night, more chance of causing accidents then preventing them!

    SO anyway why's it shut?
Puts about ten minutes extra on my daily journey with all the traffic.
