You don't need a bike - there is limited car parking available,or you can just get dropped off at the gate like we're doing.Have to have an SMB mini meet-up/piss-up,...or not.

There's normally a good contingent of Consett bikers there, plus one of the lads now lives in the gatehouse, insided the grounds of the STC site. Every chance there'll be a few of us there again.

Higgy used to go,but he moved out of Consett a couple of years ago.I was talking to one of the Fowler Welch Coolchain drivers on Friday,he's something to do with Dragonslayer & he lives down near Witton Castle.Had a good chat about it - & he kept me away from my work for 20 minutes in the process.....which was good

I fancy it again this year like, don't think the lads are intereted though.

Been twice before. First time we went on the Friday for Russ Tippins and Limehouse Lizzy and fucked off home on the Saturday. Second time we went for both nights when UFO headlined. Went paintballing on the Saturday and walked what seemed like miles to a pub to watch the Man Utd game when Kenwyne made his debut. Got gypped by some local kids playing pool, then went back to the site to watch UFO.

me and 3 mates go up in the van, can take loads of stuff, its a bit expence to park it on site £35 i think, but between 4 its ok, comes in handy if it weather turns nasty. remember barny 2 years ago.
