The AOL, waste of money?
Good to have as many of the younger local lads in the team, finally the academy is producing a few gems like Meyler, Noble, Leadbetter and Henderson.
About time like.
But up until recently nothing, and that 3m we got for Waggy will come in nicely thankyou.

Do you expect an organisation like a youth academy to turn a profit in its first 3-5 years like?
Dont tell me ours is the only youth set up in the whole of the British Isles that's done nowt for years.

No he isn't. He asked a question that is why the question mark is at the end of his sentence. Bit like yourself
To maintain premiership footy we need an academy.
Our AOL is the envy of most other clubs. Lads starting to come through and therefore an absolute brilliant piece of business in deciding to build it

Re: The AOL, waste of money?
Not on your nelly, sometimes I've often heard some of our footballers say they were attracted by the training facilties here, so it is a major selling point when attracting the bigger players.

Re: The AOL, waste of money?
If you're talking about the AoL itself, surely having an outstanding training ground is a pull for potential signings, so you can't judge it purely on the youth players that have (or have not) been produced; or do you mean having a youth setup in general?
