Anyone know owt about washer dryers?

Got an integrated Hotpoint thing. When you select the dryer on the dial it sounds like the pump is going but then the dial just keeps clicking round past all the programmes.

Is it buggered?

Bought a good quality washer/dryer a few year back & the dryer function is nowt short of fooking shite.

Lesson learned.

It is shite but we're in a rented house at the mo and it's included. Takes 3 weeks to dry a sock though.

Sounds like the sump filter is blocked - should be a push plate on the front, loosen big threaded plug underneath some soapy water will come out - wash the filter under a running tap.
