Quinnys thoughts on Bruce
in todays Northern Echo " Sunday was a blur. Monday you try to get going again. Its been a tough week but I have been up the training ground and there is a different mood.
Of course Steve Bruce was flat but I have noticed as the week has gone there is a determination in him you don't lose it. It gets shuffled about on a day like Sunday. Seven days on that determination will be back I love his conscientiouness.
He has this passion enthusiasm about him. He's a real football person and not a bluffer. For me he is the perfect manager for this club. There is no lack of confidence in the manager whatsoever in everything he does.
For me he is the type of person, the ideal, to take SAFC further "
Lets hope Quinny is right.

'but he's still a geordie'
well, that's the usual response from most people.
