Default "Suprise Defeat" for Newcastle last night

    According to the BBC.

Thought Blackburn have a good record at the piggery?

How is that a surprise defeat? Surely, any newly promoted team, even at home shouldn't be surprised to be beaten off an established premier league team.

I think because a team who will be expected to be in the Champions league next season should be be beating teams like Blackburn.

this is the 5th time they've won there out of their last 5.

was a decent bet that they'd win again, and they did.

Indeed. How can they expect to spank Inter/Barca/Real if they can't even turn over some tuppeny ha'penny team like Blackburn?

indeed - had a mag in know crowing about his winnings at the bookies last night, which says it all about them.....chucking the diversions in after a bad result (same guy was all about our forthcoming tough games after the blackpool result and the 0 points we would get....), and selling their team down the river at the slightest opportunity

makes me sound like a po faced twat maybe, but i dont bet against the lads - i dont subscribe to this having a few quid in my pocket making up for losing a game

Blackburn actually have a great record in the North-East generally. Until a couple of years ago I think they'd won something like 11 games in a row up here. Including at Blyth
