    Default Running - Phone Apps

    What does everyone use then?

Runkeeper for me. Really like it. Keeps me focused. Can create routes on the website. Good motivation tool.

Ran my second 5km using it last night and brought my km split time down by 20s

    Building up to 10km

Endomondo (?) is also supposed to be good.

    What do you use?

runkeeper for me aswell mate!... I like the splits it gives you after each km/mile.... and how far behind target etc, then afterwards using the map and splits to see where to improve etc, keeps me motivated too!

never used edomondo (sp) or any others

I started with mapmyrun, and that was ok, then switched to runkeeper which I found much better. Don't feel the need to try any others, it does everything I need.

    If it ain't broke....etc.

I don't run but for Mountain Biking I use Endomondo, having switched from Runkeeper.

Runkeeper failed twice for me to register a workout and Endomondo hasn't (yet in over 20 workouts) also Endomondo has better, more detailed statistics on the website for me to compare workouts, like top speed for example, also I had question marks over the accuracy of Runkeepers stats.

I just like Endomondo better, I'm not sure there's that much difference between them really tbh but it's the fact that Runkeeper failed twice and Endomondo hasn't.

Last time i used endomondo i did a 10 mile run but it came out as 9 on that and i could do the same exact route and each time it would give me a different distance covered.

Maybe all the runkeeper users should set up an SMB 'Street Team' so we can compare runs and egg each other on?

Use Endomondo, but found it a faff on when checking my pace when out running. So bought a Garmin 110 forerunner watch, which you can download to your laptop and it stores a map of each route, with splits etc. Certainly easier to read for your pace and distance when its a watch.

And still use Endomondo as well......
