    Default Calorie controlled diet.

Started this on Monday. Allowing myself 1800-2000 a day and I'm honestly finding it hard to reach it. I've had 915 so far today, got a chilli for tea which is 400 and I honestly don't know how I'm going to have another 500. I know it's only the 4th day but already I feel better, been drinking at least 2 litres of water a day too and my belly seems a little flatter but that's prob just in the mind if I'm honest. Reckon I'll coast to my 11 stone 2 target at this rate...

400 for a chilli? Is it some kind of weightwatchers microwave meal?

Struggling to reach 1800-2000? What's your weight? Are you 100% sure that you're recording your calories accurately?

Why are you doing a calorie controlled diet and what are your macronutrients like?

    Cos he's a lazy bugger?

Mind you, there are days when I realise I've eaten far less than the amount he's aiming for. Some days I just don't feel hungry.

you're struggling to get up to your calorie requirements but eating low calorie versions of foods, eat the normal versions for a start!

Macronutrients are what is going to dictate your body composition. Calories will dictate weight loss, but weight loss isn't everything, as you can still look like shit at a goal weight if your macronutrients are shitty. Looking at that diet, it's hugely lacking protein and fats mate.

I'd also start the calories at the upper end of the realistic spectrum and monitor weight over a period of weeks, slowly reducing them in accordance with weight/appearance.
