Swansea playing some great football
... it's been said alot this season, but they've also come under criticism as of late for just hoying the ball around without creating much. Haven't seen that much of them so far but catched the first half today against B'burn. Granted, B'burn ain't no gigantic footballing force throughout the universe, but Swansea did more than just keep the ball ALL the time (whenever they lost it they got it back quick ala Barcelona); they played nice slick football and created enough chances to go into HT with more than a 2-0 lead. Never ever threated since they had the ball all the time - best way to defend aint it? Looked like there was a division and a half seperating the teams today.
Anyways, enough with praising Swansea (they're 'only' 12th, although not bad for a newcomer...) - would you want Sunderland to play 'this' way, a bit of a 'Barcelona Light'? Not all days will be looking the way it did today, but I personally find it an 'attractive' way to play and I'd love to see Sunderland have a shit-full of possession and boss (not that having the ball automatically = bossing the game) the game - even it'd mean playing it around it for spells without gaining too much territory. Would you? (of course, it's about results in the end)
