I know someone who had the same recently. One woman came round, loved it and was confident she'd get a good price for her house......came back 3 days later rather embarrassed saying she couldn't afford it. Guess her own valuation of her house was slightly off!

I bet they'll take kindly to being asked that like!!

It's frustrating like, and I appreciated the honesty of those who did actually say it wasn't for them at the time. Worst were those who appeared interested and then got no feedback after....all part and parcel of selling the house I suppose....got right on my tits!

If people are offering so much less...is it sensibly priced? We had to accept that what we thought ours was worth and what people were prepared to pay were slightly different. Got us the sale and also afforded a bit of bargaining on the next property to mitigate the drop in asking price.
