Messi the World's best but...
I bet he wishes he could play against Bayer Leverkusen keeper every week. Most PL keepers could have done better with 4 of the 7 goals conceded.

Absolutely not. On attitude alone Messi wins by a country mile. But on talent, moving off the ball, scoring and creating goals there is no-one better in the world. That is why figures of £180 - £200,000,000 have been bandied about as a possible fee if he was to be transfer listed.

Massive flaw in that argument however in that it overlooks many of the things which helps messi:
Stabilaty
The Spanish TV Deal
A better supporting cast
In Ronaldos Man United and Real Madrid sides hes been the standout player. Messi has had Ronaldinhio, Xavi and Iniesta alongside him. Rooney, Di Maria and Ozil dont come close to Messis team mates.

Unfortunately a diamond in a bucket of sh-- gets lost. It is obvious that at Barcelona the team plays to Messi's strengths and he makes the most of it. Win win all round!
So perhaps we should turn that proposition down and say it is Argentina that are not very good.

Is that true though?
They were very comfortable in the group games without Messi doing a lot, you cant blame the defense for his underperforming there.

Well i'm probably one of the older fellas on here, but i've never seen a player like Messi.
He's making difficult skills appear routine and easy.
