Catts was stupid yesterday and needs to sort out his discipline problems, yes.

He let the team down, again, yes.

He deserves some stick, yes.

But reading some of the posts on here I have to say the joy some of you get from kicking a Sunderland player is the real disgrace. I think his sending off was the best thing in the game for some of you because it gives you the chance to get your kicking boots on.

Oh how I wish some on here had been born on the dark side and infested their boards.

I don't derive any pleasure whatsoever from telling Cattermole that he is as thick as mince, and that Bruce really needs to consider what the future holds for the lad . . . . but it doesn't stop me posting it.

first one was a cheap yellow card. Ref was hoying them around like confetti. Piss poor decision by the ref for first booking. Ref put himself in an awkward decision for the second one.

Yes, Cattermole was daft. didnt deserve to walk though, booking at the most.

Cattermole was stupid, I know that and you know that. He cost us in this and the Brum game and I have no problem with anyone saying it, its true.

I think we all know the people who just cant wait to jump on any Sunderland players back and its them that sicken me.

He simply should not have played that game, under those circumstances IMO.

I fail to see why Bruce is investing so much in Catts, and Hendo when a touch of creativity and change of routine in this area would relieve a lot of pressure and more than likely than achieve what he is currently aiming for in the midfield.

I do think this will be a turning point for Cattermole, a sort of make or break in terms of his career, at least now, with us. I for one hope he can get through these hitches and think he will.

seems fair and looks like he has been told
