Tony Pullis has just said on Goals on Sunday that the Championship is the 4/5 highest league for attendences in the world.

some great crowds in League 1 yesterday too.

Charlton got 16,000, Southampton 21,000.

Sheffield Wednesday had 23,000.

Notts County and Swindon both had 10,300.

Just over 87,000 spread across 5 games is good going for that league.

Throw in Huddersfield, Plymouth and MK Dons and last seasons average of 9,144 could be beaten. This is without leeds and norwich.
