Default Lets take it in steps & not get carried away...

As a SAFC supporter of approx 20 years & season ticket holder for approx 15 years (I'm 28) I've seen plenty of ups & downs.

It's easy to get carried away & we could have decent chance of european football for only the 2nd time in the clubs history but I think we should be cautious......

    1. We need to get over 35 points asap to secure our safety in the PL.

    2. If the above is achieved by the end of Jan we will not be far away from competing for the euro spots.

I will always be cautious due to the last 50 years of yo-yoing as SAFC always have the ability to fcuk it up just when you think we are on a roll........

As fans lets get behind the lads & sing our hearts out for them.......

I'd rather get carried away if it's all the same to you.
I've spent 30 years not getting carried away and I'm running out of time ............ Haway Sunderland.

I'm trying not leave myself disappointed hence why I'm trying to be cautious, I am very giddy of what a fantastic season we may have in store.

After more than 50 years of following the lads I'm not getting carried away but I am very happy with Short, Quinn and Bruce.

Best chance of doing something for many a year.

Strange season, table, results and performances.

I do think people are allowing the table to carry them away a bit. We could be 5/6th or in a couple of weeks be 13/14th its really that close.

Very happy with the points, not so happy with the not so convincing performances too many imho, think we have rode our luck in far too many games, tends to even out (look at Brum this season as against last).

Top ten finish is the clubs target this year and I dont see any reason that we cant achieve this.
