yes as i was there that day and those self deluding scum made the most of things that day with battles being fought both on and off the pitch bad day for football all round

I can recall the song the Geordies chanted after the sendings off. Did'nt see any trouble that day, infact there was 5 of us in the car, 2 of them mags. They were in our end at the front, they celebrated when the mags scored and not a word was said to them.

Utter bollox, they may have been there, but would have been murdered if they'd been identified as mags. The atmosphere was very nasty in the ground ,shit weather , shit day all round.

It was worse than that - the one I remember doing the rounds was a photocopy of the team photo with monkeys' heads superimposed onto the heads of all the players - except Gayle and Bennett of course.

Those were the days, eh?
