Quality live band anarl - loads of energy and obviously really enjoy themselves. Topper stuff.

Saw them at Brudenell Social club in Headingley last year. Absolutely topper, and what a cracking little venue as well.

I saw them last Sunday, in Nottingham, and would travel a fair distance to see them again .. I'd taken the family out for 4 different birthdays and one of the lasses, Becky, gave us a really good mention during the show.

    A class act all round.

    Very.

Are you going to see them at the Tyne? Great venue for them I think. Surprised to read it hasn't sold out yet.

Been listening to Hannah Peel's solo album which is well worth a listen too. Don't know if she's still in the touring band or not - she's the beautiful blonde one who has played strings for the last couple of years with the Unthanks. There's some good clips on Youtube of her doing covers of 'Blue Monday', 'Tainted Love' and others accompanied by a little music box.

Pleased to hear that your family outing went well, Riviera. You can trust the SMB!

Off to see them tonight oddly enough. Always excellent live (and recorded). The support, Trembling Bells, are very good as well.

Agreed. I work in Leeds, and I pop along and see gigs there time to time. Saw the Mountain Goats there last year. Quality venue. Wonder why people don't do that with more old WMCs
