Default This spell was always likely to be a "blip" in our season

Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool in quick succession.....At beginning of it we were 7 points clear of our rivals by the end of those games Liverpool and Bolton may have overtake us

    HOWEVER

We finish the season with a run of games against

    West Ham
    Fulham
    Brum
    Wolves
    Bolton
    Wigan
    West Brom

    Only Bolton are in top half.....Others are 12th 14th 17th 18th 19th 20th

We SHOULD go into those games at nearly full strength...

I will eat my own dick if we do not finish 6th or 7th as even during our slump and with all the injuries we have only Liverpool and Bolton have made up any real points on us.

FFS Take your heads out of your ovens and accept that in some games we will get beaten by better teams (Chelsea & Spurs) and that you dont have to find scape goats when it does happen just support the team knowing that as a club we are in our best position for years

Exactly what Ive been saying mate (apart from eating me own dick ).

If we can take 3pts from the next 4 games it will be excellent going into the run of games after it.

people have been desperate to locate this seasons 'blip', and the fact that we APPEAR to be at that point in february is atestament to how well we have been doing. Another key factor is that compared to last seasons bad run, the football we are playing is excellent (ok, excellent at times), indeed better than in some games where we have got a result.

This is the one thing that we should keep in mind when comparing 'blips' - remember the home performances against wigan, stoke, fulham? getting dicked at chelsea? awful football, clueless at times.

even if we get nothing from the next four games, if we play football like we have been, i for one am looking forward to that run in.

Makes the failures against Spurs, Stoke, Blackpool (h) and Newcastle all the more damaging. Every team has to play the same fixtures over the course of the season, you have to win your winnable games - something we have failed to do this calender year so far
