Just bought one. Great for the man who's wife could not give a fcuk if he starved to death. And reasonably cheap too.

What temp do you reckon medium is then, I cook in a crock pot but I suppose if I keep the heat low enough it'll do exactly the same.

Our lass has just got one and thus far it has been very successful, we had a cracking Pork Stroganoff earlier this week which bubbled away slowly all day.

One of the best things I ever bought. Home-made curries are exceptional in a slow cooker. Also good for stews and casseroles. Perfect bit of kit to have a lovely dinner ready when you get in from work on a minging winter's night.
