Now Cana has gone and a large chunk of weekly wage, does any else feel like we should break our wage structure to bring in Ireland. Catts does a great job of buzzing around in the center of the park, but the creativity and goal threat of Ireland could make us a much better side.

I'd love to have him here but think he'll go to a bigger club.

would be ideal for us, as would cahill, but there wouldn't be any real chance of signing them

Would prefer Jones / Bent playing week in - week out rather than changing the team shape to accomodate Ireland who (IMHO) cannot be played in a 4-4-2

Would be a class signing, and now Cana has fucked off I'd say we need another midfielder.

I don't want Henderson stuck in the middle again, he is better on the wing. Zenden is ok, but we really need better if we can get it.

Would love us to sign him. There may be a chance as nothing seems to be going on with him transfer wise. The only problem may be the Milner transfer, as I think Ireland may be one of the players offered to Villa in this deal.

As I have said on other Ireland threads, I would absolutely love him here but think there is no chance of him coming.

If he was available (which I dont think has been confirmed) I could see any/all of Villa, Everton, Spurs and even Arsenal & Utd going for him.

Would love to be proved wrong though
