Default Jaws Book about the Film

Massive thank you to the poster on here (I'm assuming it was Ben Gardner) who gave the tip about The Jaws Log which is a book about the making of the film. It's fecking excellent. Glad I got hold of a copy. Well worth the read. That is all.

    A big shark bit things

What a truly incredible concept ..... how people stayed awake through that heap of shit, with an obviously rubber fish, is a fucking mystery.

I've had blow-up girlfriends more fucking lifelike than that daft fucker

Heh - aye, but you miss the point of the film. It's genius is the suspense and the characters when the shark isn't even visible. The head falling from the boat has scared more people in the world than any CGI effects. Absolutely superb film.

The book added to the suspense by having Hooper shag Brody's wife. Should have been included but even without it a great, great film.

Jaws is a pale shadow of 'Sharktopus' which I think may well have been a true story

Where'd you get it mate? I've heard of this book and quite fancied it, but it always seemed very expensive.
