Knockbacks from bars/clubs you've had
Can remember some prickhat of a bouncer with a moustache not letting me in Idols when I was a young 'un because he said my Dries Van Noten jumper was like summit Bobby Thompson would wear.
Also not getting into a bar in Birmingham for wearing Air Rifts as I 'could get cut by broken glass', just as a crowd of sandal-wearing birds shuffled past me.

I remember when I was in college, we were all at the doors to get into pzazz (the old pzazz!) 3 of us got in, a bouncer stopped the last lad and went "how old are you son?", he went "17"
"FUCK" we didn't get in that night.

some twat in darlington wouldnt let me in cos i was 'wearing trainers', pretty ridiculous statement in darlo of all places but it was made worse by the fact that I was wearing shoes
