Fucking Useless Vodafone

For 4 months now I've had intermittent phone service in my area due to mast problems. Vodafone inform that this has been sorted but I know that's bollocks as my phone still has intermittent service despite the new sim card that they said would solve the problem. I've been passed from dept to dept and have also been offered one of those signal boosters. I asked them what good this boosted signal would be outside of my house, and then it dawned on them it would be no use whatsoever.

They say it's the phone and I need to send it for repairs. It works everywhere else fine and I also know of other Vodafone customers who are having the same issue where I live.

I've said to them that my phone is not fit for purpose but they still insist for me to get out of my contract I will incur a charge of 125 quid which I don't think is appropriate. Is it worth me ringing the Ombudsman in this instance? Has anyone else had this issue?

One thing is for sure, I'll never use Vodafone again as long as I live. Disgusting customer services.

Its a canny way to get what you want without having to go through the long and arduous route of wading through the call centre minions.

Its bullshit mate, I guess your on about the Crook area. Everyone I know who has vodafone has been whinging about it for months. Like you say, they work everywhere else

Got it in one marra. They've tried to fob me off with "oh we've fixed the mast" which is absolute shite given I know for a fact that they are in dispute with the fella who owns the land where the mast is. Wonder what they'd do if I simply stopped my direct debits.
