The last thing I want is some random Geordie or fellow Yorkshire sniffing around my personal space all week long when I'm trying to enjoy myself. I don't talk to anyone but our lass. (No.)
We've ended up having a few drinks with people whilst on holiday and saying hello round the pool and at mealtimes and stuff but I wouldn't wanna spend MY holiday with total strangers who I've only just met.
Not completely anti-social but like my own space when I'm away.
The people we meet aren't always British either so it's a bit different and more interesting.
"Here he comes, here comes Pell" - Pell, Nov 2010.
Difficult situation here. Spend the whole holiday with your other half and be bored as fuck after a few days, or risk having a bit crack with strangers who then invariably stalk you for the rest of your jollies?
We met a young couple from Belfast who were on their honeymoon in South Africa. He and our lass went to bed early leaving me and her drinking at the bar until the early hours. Hang on a minute................
