In truth the visitors offered nothing going forward as an accomplished debut from Sunderland loanee Louis Laing cut out the balls that were lofted into the area on the rare occasions Rochdale managed a decent spell of possession.

He sprayed it around well on the deck as well and looked comfortable with the ball at his feet, with one 60 yard lung-bursting run leaving Dale unsure what to do with him.

Sounds very promising, it was also Wycombe's first clean sheet for 21 games.

He is a class act like, just needs games - regular for us the season after next, if not next season.

Egan played 90 mins for crystal palace as well , they conceded 2 in the final 5 mins though . Be good experience training with the likes of o shea and Brown for half the season . First team football should bring the two of them on a lot though .
