Default london - cheap rail tickets and theatre tickets

i'm planning a day trip to london in a few weeks time, early train, an exhibition, a matinee at the theatre, bit of scran and train back

does anybody know of any sites where i might get some reduced priced tickets for either the train or the theatre. do those 1/2 price ticket booths in leicester square only sell for performance on that day? as i'd probably want to buy in advance. cheers

The flaw in your thread title is cheap.

East Coast's own site for train tickets, book about 2 months in advance (it tells you date on there) and you'll get return tickets for roughly £30.

Theatre tickets are rarely cheap for the popular shows. Try TKTS on the day, or lastminute for deals on meal/show etc.
