    Default Karate Kid

Just seen it, was pleasantly surprised. Much better than the original in my opinion (even though there is no actual 'Karate' in it like ). A definite guilty pleasure.

    How dare you.
I'm sick of all these movies being remade like.

    That is not possible.

The original had everything. Mr. Miyagi was a philosophical genius.

Was at the flicks last night and thinking about how cinema will adapt in the future - theres only so many different stories and tales that can be told, so it stands to reason that film makers will have to start plundering the past.

So as time goes on, there will be more and more remakes until an original film is a rarity and we are watching remakes of remakes.
