They had a changed home strip for their centenary year. I'd have thought we would have done something similar but nope.

We don't tend to celebrate as much as others. Shame really, really need to embrace our history more but in doing so move away from the constant reference to 73.

We've released a few cd's with Sunderland related music on yet none or ever played before games. Where as when you go to places like Old Trafford, White Hart Lane and Anfield they all do.

Agree, should look big up Safc history more than just 1973, as at the time we were Wimbledon to Liverpool circa 1988
